- Drs appointment on the 18th of March. Weight 14.8 and Lenght 25 inches, about 75% for both. They told me now I can have CEREAL!! Yayyy!! Didnt have my shots that day since I have been sneezing for a couple of days and have some dry "mocos" (boogers).
- On March 21st I had CEREAL for the first time!! It was mixed with BM and I was spoon fed, I love it!! I was soo happy I just wanted more and more!!!
- Im laughing non stop, I even had tickles!! Im starting to reach out to people I like :)
- Im trying to rollover but I cant yet!!
- I still sleep swaddled but with one arm out. I sleep through the night... mostly from 930 to 730, my scheduled changed since daylight savings started.
-Im screaming in the car, mommy is having a hard time teaching me how to self soothe.

3 months update!
WOW I'm growing too fast!!! I'm such a happy girl!! and my family cant get enough of me!! :)
-I'm still sleeping through the night most of the days!! I'm now having a bath at around 730 before it was more like 830. I sleep from 9pm-7am.
-I don't have much gas anymore, just sometimes :)
- I'm even talking more!!! I'm even saying ma-ma-ma!! I scream and laugh all day long, everyone is impressed of how much I talk and that I'm always happy!
-I love to go out!! Love being in the car, while its moving, and love going to the mall and watching around! I also can spend a long time playing with my toys!!
- I started using the bumbo!! I still lift my head to one side so looks like I'm not "that" ready yet!! I'm a little lazy when it comes to tummy time!
- I love my gymboree classes, I enjoy them sooo much!!
- I'm starting to recognize everyone in my house, and I tend to want "certain" people to feed me, specially mommy, daddy and grandma.
- I cry non stop when i see mommy back from work, I miss her too much!! She resign her job and got plenty new offers, she is excited for a possibility of a part time job to stay home with me.
-I'm using size 2 diapers and clothes 6-9months... Not sure how much I weight but we think around 15 lbs! and I have definitely grow since my pants fit much better! I'm not chubby, I'm a skinny tall girl :)
-Everyone is saying I'm looking a lot more like daddy... my eyes are green and everyone is hoping they stay that way! My hair is getting curlier... like mommy!! This is what most of the people think: I'm very white like my grandma Anita and grandpa Ricardo, my eye color is daddy's, eyes shape they don't know, nose: grandpa Ricardo, mouth: some say mommy some say daddy, face shape: daddy, hair: mommy, hands: my great grandma Tula, feet: daddy, rest of the body: mommy.
- For future references: pampers diapers are $42 per box for 184, wipes are $15 for about 700, formula is $7 a can of enfamil gentelease ready to use formula 32oz, water about 1.5 per gallon, that is basically what I use the most. Looks like we might be trying Luvs diapers to save some money :)
-Pooping: about 2 times a day and A LOT! It gets through my clothes! Until I changed my diapers from Pampers to Luvs... now is stays in my diaper!!! My favorite place to poop is the car :)
-I'm loosing a lot of hair!!! New hair is coming out brown with some red highlights instead of black, which is the color I was born with.
- Mommy started having GAIA Lactate support and she now pumps about 10 oz a day, plus she nurses me every morning.
-My schedule looks like this usually... Nurse around 7am, Nap 7:45 to 830, Eat 930 (formula-6oz), Nap 1130 to 12, Eat 12:30 (6oz of BM), Nap 2:30-3:15, Eat 330 (6oz of formula), Nap 6-6:30, Eat 630 (4-5oz of BM), Bath (730), Eat 8 (6oz of formula), Sleep at 9 until 7am next day. I play in my bumbo, do tummy time, watch Dora and Backyardigans, go to the park, are my activities for the day :)
-The backyardigans and Dora are my favorite shows, I watch about two 30 minute episodes every day, I enjoy them soo much.
- I love going to the park and watching kids, I also like the swing (of course I go with mommy and daddy on their lap).
- I'm starting to have separation anxiety attacks!! Every time I don't see someone I know around me I start crying like crazy! I also do that when someone that I don't know picks me up, I cry hysterically!
-I'm laughing soo hard, my parents laugh too! I love when they tickle me!!
-Mommy decided to be a WAHM, so we will be spending a lot of time home while she works :)

2 months!!!!
-Im talking non stop... I laugh so much too! I enjoy playing with my toys and starting to grab them!!!
- My first trip was to Ocala with mommy and daddy!! We went from Jan 17th to 21st... I loved my trip!! I slept the whole ride from home to Ocala and back! I love my Kangaroo so much too, I enjoy watching everything!
-My new thing is I LOVE TV!! I enjoy watching tv soo much even though mommy hates it! I get hipnotized just watching it. I love the backyardigans so much that I kick and laugh when Im watching it, I scream too!!!
- From 8-10 weeks...Im sleeping from 12 to 6 and Im still being swaddled but just one hand inside.
-Im having some attitude when I have gas.. I get so cranky I scream! I also want my milk as soon as I wake up if not Im throwing a fit! Definitely not what mommy wants, I definitely have a strong character!
- My 2month appointment was on Jan 25th. Weight 12.6lbs and Height 24 inches. Head circunference on the 60th %. I had 2 more shots and one oral vaccine... Polio, Rotavirus and Neomococo, I screamed soo much my mommy almost cried too!! It took me a good 45 minutes to stop... I got my right leg all red and sore that they had to put some cold compresses on it, which helped a lot. Dr changed my formula to Enfamil Gentlease because of gas... but I will be mostly breastfeeding :) She said Im growing great and Im in the 90% for height and 80% for weight. Next appointment is when Im 4 months, YAY for no more shots for the next 2 months!!!
-Mommy and Daddy went to Kentucky on an mini "honeymoon" and I stayed with my grandparents!! I missed them soo much but I was such a good girl!! They went from Feb 5 to Feb 8th.
- Around my 10th-11th week I started sleeping through the night!! I will go to bed around 9 to 9:30pm and wake up around 6 to 630 most of the nights!! Also on Feb 5th the moved me to my room!! Mommy was soo upset and scared she slept with me in my room! After that Im sleeping with Nanny Coco and I sleep so much better :)
- Mommy went back to work on Feb 9th and about two days later I started to give her BIG tantrums when she was back from work!! I will start crying immediately when I saw her like if she left me all day alone.. im just a little spoiled girl :) They only want to soothe me was breastfeeding me!
- I also started my Gymboree classes on Feb 12th.. and OMG I love them sooo much!! My favorite part is definitely the parachute! I love the bubbles too! I keep laughing and giggling the whole class, my parents were soo proud of me!
- Since week 11th and Im having formula and breastmilk every other feeding, mommy is pumping at work at max 6 oz which is what I eat every 3 hours, so she will bf me before work and then I will have formula, then expressed milk, then formula, and then she is back to nurse me again!! At night Im eating between 5-6 oz!!
-Im about to rollover from my back!! I get stuck in the middle of the way but Im working through it!! Also at 11wks I started trying to sit up, whenever they grab my hands all I want to do is sit!
- In the mornings after I eat I love to snuggle with mommy in her bed, I usually can nap up to 3 hours with her!! Most of the time just 1-2 hours though.

5 to 8th week update!
Here is my second month update!!
5 weeks:
- Poop... OMG its an explosion!! I go either once a day or if I skip one day the next day is double whammy! Its soo much that I need to get changed!
- I'm doing a lot of tummy time, I get a bit cranky when I do it too long, but I'm doing it great!
- I'm much alert, I started playing in my crib. I love my mobile and my piano, I love music!
- I'm no longer swaddled, I cant stand having my arms tucked in!
- I had some good and bad night sleeps, sometimes 4 to 6 hrs a night! I'm sleeping a lot less during the day.
- I love to go out, I'm such a well behaved baby!! I love to be in the car too, I instantly calm when the car is going and the music is on!
6 weeks:
- Drs appointment: weight 11.10 lbs and 24 inches, head was 15.2. Two vaccines, DFT and measles and my earrings!!! I got a bad reaction to one of the vaccines and my leg was sore, red, and hot! I was cranky all day, crying all the time until finally I fall asleep on my bouncer with mommy rocking me and putting some cold napkins to get the soreness away. Finally woke up around 6 feeling much better!
- I'm not pooping many times a day anymore, more like once a day or every other day, but when I go its a LOT!
- I also started sleeping 7 hrs!! mostly from 12:30 to 7:30!! I'm also more awake during the day, I love to play and I stay longer in my pack n play watching everything!!
- I'm trying to talk too!! More constants "AGUUU" and laughing a lot too!
- I recognize my mom and daddy and my grandparents and uncles too!! If I hear my mom near I start crying so that she can held me!!
- I'm having some baby tantrums when I'm eating too, mostly when I breastfeed... I want mommy to sing to me so I can calm down and eat :) I get desperate some times because my milk doesn't come fast enough, so I want formula!
7 weeks:
- Im sleeping horrible this week!! Waking up at 3-4am!!
- Im talking a lot more
- Im going out a lot more... and I love to poop in the car!! I also love music and my pacifier, I love when the car moves and hate when the car stops!
- I love to be out of the house, I sleep great in the car and in my stroller... not so much when Im home though :)

1 month old :)
This is a summary of my first month of life :)
Birthday: I was born with 9.1lb and 21 inches, a head full of hair, and a very healthy baby. I started latching right away, and mommy will supplement with formula, about 1oz each feeding at the hospital which is what they told her to do. I would eat up to 2oz by the time I got home. I lost some weight by the time I left the hospital... 8.7 lbs. I was born with a very small heart murmur that they believe it will go away when I'm 2 months old.
1st week:
Me: I had my first Drs appointment at 6 days old... I weighted 9lb 2.5 oz and 21 inches. Dr said I was more than 90% for both, she didn't tell me the exact percentages. I'm eating every 3-4 hours, I love to sleep, and I'm a very happy baby, already smiling a lot.
Mommy: She had her incision check, which was perfect. The Dr did tell her that she has an umbilical hernia, since I broke her naval muscle. I guess I was too big for her :) Out of the 30 lbs she lost 20lbs already, way to go!!
Food: I'm eating 4 oz at night :) And I pass gas very easily. I love to eat!! I'm trying my best to breastfeed but mommy doesn't have enough milk, so she needs to supplement with 2 oz of formula after each feeding and 4oz at night.
Sleeping: I'm waking up every 3-4 hours, and at night every 4 hours. Mommy is very happy with my schedule.
2nd week:

Mommy: Mommy has lost 4 more lbs... so just 6 more to go! She is feeling much better from the incision, by the end of this week she was almost back to normal, no more pain!!
Food: Mommy finally got more milk!! She is just supplementing at night around 1030-11 when I'm just eating formula, 5 oz!! Mommy is taking mothers milk tea and lots of water, she is making more milk but not yet enough for me :)
Sleeping: Since I turned 10 days old, I'm sleeping 5 hours at night!! I'm such a good baby :)
3rd week:
Me: I'm such a happy baby! I eat, and sleep like a champ! I poop and pee a lot too! I'm starting to smile a lot more too!!
Mommy: Got more milk!! Started fenugreek and mothers milk tea! She now feels perfect, no more pain from the csection incision!
Food: Eating 6 oz at night of formula! Breastfeeding the rest of the day!
Sleeping: I'm sleeping almost 6 hrs every night!
4th week:
Me: I'm now laughing! I'm starting to recognize mommy and daddy just by seeing them! I love to be held, and I'm having some baby tantrums, I'm getting a bit spoiled :)
Mommy: She has more milk, getting about 4oz at night when she pumps. She still doesn't have enough for me that is why I get formula twice a day. Her binder now fits her perfectly, she doesn't look preggo anymore!!!
Food: 6 oz at night and 4 oz of formula during the day. The rest of the time just breastfeeding.
Sleeping: Mostly 5 to 6 hrs a night! If I wake up earlier my mommy gives me my pacifier and moves my pack n play and most of the time I fall asleep.

Food: Mommy finally got more milk!! She is just supplementing at night around 1030-11 when I'm just eating formula, 5 oz!! Mommy is taking mothers milk tea and lots of water, she is making more milk but not yet enough for me :)
Sleeping: Since I turned 10 days old, I'm sleeping 5 hours at night!! I'm such a good baby :)
3rd week:
Me: I'm such a happy baby! I eat, and sleep like a champ! I poop and pee a lot too! I'm starting to smile a lot more too!!
Mommy: Got more milk!! Started fenugreek and mothers milk tea! She now feels perfect, no more pain from the csection incision!
Food: Eating 6 oz at night of formula! Breastfeeding the rest of the day!
Sleeping: I'm sleeping almost 6 hrs every night!
4th week:
Me: I'm now laughing! I'm starting to recognize mommy and daddy just by seeing them! I love to be held, and I'm having some baby tantrums, I'm getting a bit spoiled :)
Mommy: She has more milk, getting about 4oz at night when she pumps. She still doesn't have enough for me that is why I get formula twice a day. Her binder now fits her perfectly, she doesn't look preggo anymore!!!
Food: 6 oz at night and 4 oz of formula during the day. The rest of the time just breastfeeding.
Sleeping: Mostly 5 to 6 hrs a night! If I wake up earlier my mommy gives me my pacifier and moves my pack n play and most of the time I fall asleep.
MILESTONES/IMPORTANT DATES:
Nov 19: Went home!!
Nov 20: First hair cut, just a bit :)
Nov 23: First Drs appointment
Nov 29: My umbilical cord stump fall off
Dec 5: my first laugh!
